The fine print

Your safe is eligible for return if it meets all of the following:
- Unused and unprogrammed — the safe has not been opened, set up, or had a code programmed.
- In original packaging with all accessories, manual, and protective inserts included.
- Within 30 days of delivery — return request initiated within the window.
- Proof of purchase from ISLANDSAFE or an authorized distributor.
The following are not eligible for return:
- Used or programmed safes. For your security and the security of future buyers, we cannot resell a safe that has been opened, programmed, or installed.
- Damage from misuse — drops, attempted entry, scratched paint, accidents, or improper installation.
- Final sale or clearance items marked as non-returnable at checkout.
- Custom or engraved products made to your specifications.
- Returns without authorization. Packages sent back without a prior RMA may be refused.
If your safe arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, we'll make it right at no cost to you.
Once your return arrives and passes inspection, we process the refund within 1–2 business days. From there, your bank or card issuer typically posts the funds in 5–10 business days.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases of defective items or our error.
Want a different size or model? The fastest way is to return the original for a refund and place a new order for the model you want. This avoids backorders and gets your new safe to you sooner.
For exchanges due to a defective product, we'll ship the replacement first wherever possible.
Restocking & return shipping
A 15% restocking fee may apply to non-defective returns to cover inspection and repackaging. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error or a defective product, in which case we cover it in full.
