Q: What kind of batteries should I use in my ISLANDSAFE Safe?

A: For all ISLANDSAFE models, we recommend the following:

• Refrain from using rechargeable or Non-Alkaline batteries
• Use quality name brand batteries
• All batteries have expiration dates on them. Ensure those dates are as close to 10 years out from current year as possible.
• When changing batteries do not mix battery brands (for example, all 4 batteries should be Duracell).
• When replacing batteries, do not mix old batteries with new batteries. Replace all batteries at the same time.

Q: I lost my safe key, how do I request a replacement?

A: To get a replacement for your emergency keys, you will first need to find your model serial number and your amazon order ID number for clarification.

Q: I accidentally put the emergency safe keys inside the safe and locked it, what should I do?

A: The process to unlock the safe may vary depending on the safe model.

In case you use one of the QT25, XN25/20 or MINI17; you can simply open the safe using the default passcode number available in the user manual came with the safe package or the passcode number you have set. in case the safe is out battery you can plug in the emergency battery box in the power hole beside the keyhole will activate the safe panel.

In case of using one of ETIS models, you will need to send us the safe serial number and the amazon order ID number via this page to get an extra key (Lost Key Page).

A: Each of QT25, XN25, XN20 and ETIS models have the ability for key lock.
