The body of CBE45 safe is made of 16 Gauge, 0.0598 inch thick steel with plated-steel doors.

How do I open the door when I take my safe out of the box?

Each safe door is protected by a fabric door cover to prevent it from opening during shipping and when being removed from the box. All safes come with a key for the initial opening. Please follow the instructions in the user manual provided with the safe for a smooth setup.

How do I open my safe if the batteries in the digital keypad run out?

The safe includes a manual override key that can be used to open it in case the batteries need replacement. It is important to replace the four AA batteries once every 12 months and to store the keys in a secure location outside of the safe to ensure continued access.

How do I secure my safe?

Our home safes come with a self-installation bolt kit that includes screws and washers, and that works with most small power drills. There are two holes on the back of all CBE45 safe where you may fasten it to the surface of your choice. Our other safes have between two and four holes depending upon the model. A home safe installation diagram is available in the user manual comes in the safeā€™s package, and the video tutorial (how to use the safe).

The FNS fireproof safe line is certified for protection against fire for 45 minutes at 1200 degrees fahrenheit.

Where is the battery pack located?

The battery pack for CBE45 is located on the top side of safeā€™s door. It is concealed by the black plastic cover, which can simply be removed by unhooking the clip. The FNS fireproof safe has a battery pack that is located on the front of the door inside the keypad panel. in order to reveal it, gently rotate the panel clockwise.
