Will it fit your safe?

Your safe needs an external emergency power port

XN25

Compatible

The XN25 has a built-in emergency power port. Fully supported by this battery box.

MINI17

Other safes

Check your port

Thanks to dual-head jacks (2.5 mm & 3.5 mm), this box also works with many other home, office, and hotel safes that have an external emergency power socket. If your safe has a small round backup port, it will likely fit — contact us if you're unsure.

FAQs

Everything you need to know

How does the backup power source work?

In the event of battery failure, this external battery pack is used to access the safe by plugging it into the emergency module on the safe.

It then supplies power to the module, allowing you to open the safe with your registered passcode and change the internal batteries.

Which safe models is it compatible with?

It's designed for ISLANDSAFE QT25 and XN25, which have a built-in emergency power port. The MINI17 is not compatible — it has no external battery port.

Thanks to its dual-head 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm jacks, it also fits many other home, office, and hotel safes that include an external emergency power socket.

What batteries does it use?

Four AA / 1.5V LR6 batteries. Simply open the case marked "OPEN" and insert them.
